About our libraries
South Thames College has libraries at our sites in Merton & Wandsworth. They provide a range of resources and services to enhance and promote teaching and learning in the College. They will support you with coursework and assignments as well as offering you a place to study. It is here you can find helpful resources – textbooks, DVD’s, magazines, newspapers, online resources and relevant web links for your courses.
The Libraries offer comfortable and friendly learning spaces for your studies. There are quiet study areas and group-work tables to suit different learning styles. We have approachable and knowledgeable staff always on hand to help you make the best of the resources. Specific guidance on resources for learners with disabilities, learning difficulties and medical conditions are also available.
Our resources are accessible through the online catalogue and we provide catalogue training on how to search for materials. You will need your student ID card every time you visit the library as your ID card serves as your library card.
