- Course content:
This course will support you in creative technical skills through your cutting, experiencing the full salon environment. It will enhance your creativity and build up your techniques.
This course is aimed at students who have some or no experience of cutting. It is designed to provide you with the fundamental principles of Basic Women’s Cutting.
This course provides the basic cutting techniques over the 18 weeks and will establish the students to be able to perform a variety of cuts on both male and female clients. The cuts range from One Length, Forward Graduation, Long/Short Layers, Bob etc.
- Course Structure:
Delivery of this course will be 3 hours per week in the evenings. This course will provide students with essential knowledge, techniques, skills and understanding of how to perform Cutting techniques and tasks.
- Course resources:
Excellent salon training environment; the latest products in the market are used at the college. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This will include free internet access.
- Assessment:
Continuous assessments by observation on practical skills and some theory work will be required.
