Entry requirements are:

• A BTEC Level 3 qualification in business
• A t least one GCE A level in a relevant subject at grade A–C;
OR more than one GCE A level at grades C–E;
AND GCSE passes at grade A*–C
• Other related level 3 qualifications
• On Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved further education institution
• Related work experience

Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid and/or unpaid) and/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector.

This is a course that covers a variety of business management subjects. It gives a good grounding in practical business knowledge for those seeking a career in management.

• Managing Financial Resources and Decision
• Organisations and Behaviour
• Marketing Principles
• The Internet and E-Business
• Aspects of Contract and Negligence for Business
• Management Accounting: Costing and Budgeting and Managing Human Resources

All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This includes free internet access.

Assessment will be via vocationallyoriented assignments of a practical
nature, carried out either alone or in small groups.

A Level applicants do not need to apply for specific subjects: your application form is for the A Level programme. We will discuss your subject choices at your interview.

The tuition fee for this course is set by the University. You may be able to apply for a student loan or other funding.
