Entry requirements:
This course is for students 19 years old and over. You must have the City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification, gained in the last 5 years.
Course content:
This course is for Electricians who wish to gain a formal qualification in Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations. It covers all of the processes and regulations needed to carry out inspection, testing and record keeping. Please note: you must have passed a 17th Edition CGLI 2382 in the last 5 years.
Course Structure:
The course consists of a mixture of lectures, practical work, students working in small groups and working individually.
Course resources:
Workshops, simulated installations and Testing Equipment. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.
Assessment:
City & Guilds theory examination and practical test.
Next step:
Employment as an electrician.
