This month South Thames College joined forces with the Wandsworth Environment Forum and the Greener Jobs Alliance to identify ways to cut carbon. 75 people attended the event and were welcomed by Principal Sue Rimmer OBE.

This year is the 20th National Adult Learners’ Week. To celebrate South Thames College is hosting a number of free activities. The campaign promotes the benefits of all kinds of learning whether it be for fun, or leading to a qualification.

“I would tell all students to embrace the opportunities they get at South Thames College. If they are able to go on the UK Careers Academy Programme I would encourage them to work very hard and build a new network of friends which will help them in their future careers. My biggest achievement is graduating from the UK Careers Academy Programme and getting a 6 week internship with Lloyds Banking group.”
