Prepare for Business
Business, Accounting, Finance and Administration courses at South Thames College take a practical approach, giving you the opportunity to put theory into practice.
Courses either specialise in certain areas or teach you general principles that will help you progress onto higher level study - including university level courses - or into employment.
The College is proud to be a UK Careers Academy, a national movement of employers, schools and colleges, working to raise the aspirations of 16-19 year olds and inform their career development. UKCAF is a fully accredited two year scheme equivalent to three A levels, and designed to give students that added extra to differentiate themselves from their peers. It includes a prestigious 6 week paid internship in the City.
The range of courses in Business, Accounting & Finance at South Thames includes Higher Education (HE) - university level studies including Higher National Diploma and Foundation Degree.
If you are not yet ready for Higher Education, we have qualifications at all levels from Entry to National Diploma (A level equivalent).
If you are a mature student and want to prepare for HE, you may be able to take a one year ACCESS to HE course.
If you are an international student, and need English as well as further qualifications, our University Foundation Programme includes a Business Studies or Law pathway.
Courses in these subject areas run at our sites in Merton, Tooting and Wandsworth - look for opportunities available at a convenient location for you.

My biggest achievement is graduating from the UK Careers Academy Programme and getting a 6 week internship with Lloyds Banking group.”
