We are among the country’s leading colleges for motorcycle engineering, with a range of full and part-time courses for those who work with motorcycles and scooters – and those who simply have a passion for bikes.
Brand new facilities opened in 2010 incorporate innovative technology such as a ‘rolling road’ to test bikes and a micro camera (similar to those used in medical surgery) for studying detailed and enclosed motorcycle parts up close.
If you are passionate about motorcycles and like a mixture of manual and computer-based work, then think about a future in Motorcycle engineering.
Careers
Our courses in motorcycle engineering can lead you to careers including motorcycle mechanic, production manager, motorsports technician, motorcycle sales, MOT inspection and testing, product design and many more. Many of our students have gone on to degree-level courses in motorcycle engineering and related disciplines including aeronautics and product design.
We have three large workshops equipped with new tools and equipment in a brand new Technology block opened in 2010. We are unique in having a high tech dynometer on site - also known as a rolling road, this is a performance tuning machine which tests the efficiency and performance of your engine. A wide range of motorcycles and scooters is available for practical work.
