ESOL for Under 19s
Younger learners in the ESOL department will study English 5 afternoons a week at Wandsworth and will be taught by experienced ESOL tutors in a stimulating setting. IT and citizenship will be embedded into all course and students will take Trinity ESOL exams. In addition, student will study maths one morning a week and gain a numeracy qualification at the end of the year. The college offers a range of
enrichment activities such as class outings, guest speakers and sports facilities. Parents and carers are keep up to date about the youngsters' progress in the form of reports and parents and carers' evenings.

Over 100 adult learners were awarded for their outstanding successes at the prestigious South Thames College Adult Learners’ Awards ceremony at the Wandsworth Civic Suite on May 12th, 2009. This event is timed to celebrate National Adult Learners’ Week, sponsored by NIACE (National Institute of Adult Continuing Education). National Adult Learners’ Week, now in its 18th year, seeks to inspire adults across the country to learn new skills, add to their qualifications or take up a leisure course in their spare time.
