    We know that it is important to look after our physical health but it is also just as important to look after our mental well-being and examine the way we manage our everyday life so we can maintain a sense of balance and control of life events.

    This course is part of a programme of courses which are designed to teach practical skills that people can use in their daily lives to enable them to manage the stresses and strains of everyday living more easily. The course will focus on improving your own unique situation with your everyday life with activities designed to give you a clearer picture of how to move forward and make those important decisions.

    The courses are not designed for people to address specific personal issues, although indirectly they maybe of benefit. If a student attends with a personal issue which has legal/medical implications they will be advised to go to their GP and/or speak to the college counsellor.

    The emphasis is on learning within a small friendly and supportive group.
