Charles D’eca, Public Services
"I am studying on a Public Services course at South Thames College. I have a particular admiration for the Police because I grew up in a rough area in South London. I experienced first hand the ways the Police can improve peoples’ lives and how they benefit the community. In my spare time I work as a Sports Coach and this job and the course are blending well together. My work experience gives me different knowledge in class. Working with the Police on the Met Track programme is also inspirational and helps to show me the varied role of the police. Once I finish my course I hope to join the Police."
