Single Equality Scheme
As part of our commitment to, and promotion of, equality and diversity at the College we’ve published our Annual Equalities Report for 2011-12.
The report forms part of the Single Equality Scheme Action Plan, setting the objectives for the action plan being developed for 2013 to 2016.
We’d like your feedback or comments to improve the actions we can take to improve equalities for all our staff and learners. You can tell us your thoughts by phone, email or post. Contact Janet Smith, Deputy Principal Learner Experience on:

Olivia Pelling, Musical Instrument Making
“I chose the Musical Instrument programme because it was very hands on and I wanted a programme where I was going to actually make instruments in addition to studying the theories. I was able to make 3 instruments, learn many repairs including bow care; learn about acoustics and also business management. The course enabled me to become what I am now, a luthier. Since I finished the course, I immediately went and did an apprenticeship in a violin workshop and following that, have now have opened my own business, which is doing well.”
