What our students say
We are always trying to improve what we do, so asking our students what they think is very important. We do a number of surveys every year as well as asking students to participate in our "Learner forum" where elected class representatives come along and talk to the College management about any concerns.
In this year's student survey, students described South Thames College as a fun place to study which they think is safe, professional, supportive and offers good opportunities.
Here's what a few of our students had to say:
Dayna Mills, Diploma in Music
I love my course and all the extra responsibilities I have taken on here at South Thames College. I plan to attend Westminster University in two years time as it is a great university for Music. Coming to South Thames College has really opened a lot of doors for me.
Sophie Kelly BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care
Studying for vocational qualifications has given me the confidence and inspiration to achieve my goals in life.
Adam Ghadiali - Access to Business
You can achieve anything at South Thames College. The tutors are easy to approach and they have motivated me to pursue a professional career path. I am ecstatic that through the Access to Business course I have been offered a place at King's College London, one of the most reputable universities in England, to study a business management degree.
Gary Mercado - First Diploma Public Services
I have studied a lot of different subjects, but none of those have made me feel as good about myself as the Public Services course has. I believe this has been the best choice I have ever made. When I come to college I feel happy and motivated by my classmates. There hasn't been a better a time in life. I enjoy every single day I come here - it's really good!
