If you're interested in digital marketing or run a website, this course will show you how to advertise to potential customers on the internet through Google AdWords. You'll learn how to use SEO (search engine optimisation) and keyword research to create effective advertising campaigns.
The course covers:
- Using the main features of Google AdWords
- Planning campaigns and ad groups
- Targeting your audience by location and demographic
- Selecting keywords
- Reading AdWords reports.
Your tutor will observe group tasks and give you regular feedback. There will also be question and answer sessions.
No prior knowledge of Google AdWords is required, but you'll need general computing and internet skills. You should set up an AdWords account before your first class.
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
You could do another course in digital marketing at the College.
