Learning difficulties and disabilities
We have specialist teaching and support teams to work with young people and adults with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. Our facilities are adapted to provide access to everyone.
Depending on your circumstances, you could get Government grants or other financial support. For example the Disabled Students’ Allowance if you’re on a university-level course. Find out what’s available on our Financial Support page, or ask the Learner Support Team.
“When I started my course in sports, I was a little bit shy and had trouble with reading, writing and my speech. My support teacher helped me with my note-taking and spelling and showed me ways to plan my work and remember things. I couldn't have done my course without the support and it's helped me achieve a lot. I want to use my sports course to coach people of all ages.”

Our Local Offer
We want information about our services to be clear and accessible. This is also our responsibility under the Government's Special Educational Needs Regulations (Local Offer) 2014. If you're unsure of the support we can offer you, please get in touch.
