Counselling

Focus on problems in your personal life in a confidential and non-judgemental setting.
As you work through what's troubling you with a counsellor you'll find you have more energy to focus on your studies.

Whatever your situation we will do our best to support you and help you complete your course successfully. There are many reasons you might want to come to us - stress, relationships, bereavement, sexuality or abuse.

Many of our students find counselling incredibly helpful but the decision is entirely yours -not your tutors, parents or other students.

You can arrange to see a counsellor at the Advice Centre or reception at your campus.

We have specialist teaching and support teams to work with young people and adults with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. Our facilities are adapted to provide access to everyone.

» Learning Support

For students on mainstream courses, our Learning Support Team helps over 1,000 people each year achieve success.

» The Aurora Centre (Merton College)

The Aurora Centre (Merton College) is our non-residential, specialist centre for 16-24 year olds with autistic spectrum disorder and complex needs.

» Foundation Learning/SEND

This programme offers individually tailored learning for 16-24 year olds with particular needs in a supportive environment.

Financial support

Depending on your circumstances, you could get Government grants or other financial support. For example the Disabled Students’ Allowance if you’re on a university-level course. Find out what’s available on our Financial Support page, or ask the Learner Support Team.

Facilities and campus

Our professional-standard teaching facilities and technology are purpose-built for your subject. This will make your studies with us exciting, fun and as close as possible to what you'd experience in a real, working environment.

If you'd like to see our facilities or find out more, come to one of our open days or take a virtual campus tour.

Please note our facilities are spread across our campuses and vary accordingly. To find out where your course is running, view our courses by campus page.
