CCN1 Core Gas Safety Reassessment (ACS)

The ACS CCN1 re-assessment is for existing gas professionals who already hold the ACS Core Gas Safety (CCN1) domestic qualification and relevant gas appliances that have not expired (no longer than 12 months) or are near to expiring (within 6 months). Candidates can undertake re-assessment up to 6 months in advance of expiring and have the relevant time added on to the new certificate expiry date. This is to allow for candidates to avoid leaving re-assessment until the last moment and the uncertainty that may transpire.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must have already held the ACS Core Gas Safety (CCN1) qualification and any additional domestic gas appliances. Candidates whose ACS CCN1 and appliance qualifications have expired for more than twelve months are required to undertake the ACS CCN1 Initial Core Gas Safety Assessment and subsequent appliance assessments (total of 3 days) -
Course Content
Course structure Day 1: Open book mutiple choice theory assessments and PAWS (Practical Assessment Workplace Scenario) task workbook assessment. Day 2: Practical assessment on CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety and all currently held domestic gas appliances being renewed. -
Additional Information
Candidates are required to provide 2 recent passport size photographs, their National Insurance Number, current Gas Safe Register card and the last previously issued (no longer than 6 years) ACS CCN1 Certificate (including appliances)Costs
Assessment Fee: £544.50 (payment to be made in full prior to assessment taking place)
