Introduction
This course will teach you the basics of sewing machine controls, threading techniques and embroidery stitches. Youll use a sewing machine and pattern to make a simple garment or accessory.
You'll be introduced to essential sewing skills such as:
- How to thread and use a sewing machine and overlocker
- Understanding a pattern and choosing suitable fabric
- Laying, pinning and cutting out fabric
- Completing seams and hems.
