Introduction To Print-Making - Introduction

Our craft courses will teach you a range of creative skills you can use to start a small business making and selling your own unique products. They're also a great way to improve your dexterity, meet new people and develop an interest. 

Introduction

This course is designed to give you an understanding into the whole process of Print making and will allow to make your own creatively developed screen prints. It will explore printmaking and image making by focusing on specific methods and techniques.

By the end of the course you will be able to

Screen print and be acquainted with techniques to include etching, hard ground, and soft ground

  • Gain an understanding of the process start to finish
  • Develop an awareness of professional and critical standards in printmaking

Materials

There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).

Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
