Learn to use Adobes industry-standard imaging software. This beginners course will help you to enhance portrait and holiday photographs, adjust exposures and colours and much more. You will learn to use a wide variety of tools and their effects and produce images for the web, printing and desktop publishing.
This course is aimed at students who are already involved in photography, graphic design, web design, art or illustration or are thinking of a career change.
The course covers:
- Enhancing portrait and holiday photographs
- Adjusting exposures and colours
- Creating panoramic scenes and merging differently exposed photographs
- Using layers to edit content
- Creating fun images and illustrations
- Preparing images for print, websites, emails and desktop publishing
There is group and one to one tuition. Constructive advice and problem solving of students own work will also be given.
Basic IT skills using either a PC or Mac computer are essential.
Please bring your own memory stick to copy any project work in order to practice at home. If you bring along your own laptop computer with the same software, please ensure you have a mouse, as using the scroll panel will be too slow for you to keep up with the lessons.
