Our baking courses will teach you professional skills in cake, bread, pastry making that will prepare you well to set up your own business or for progression to further study on our accredited hospitality and catering courses.
This course is being taught online during the Summer 2020 Term.
This course introduces you to the basics of cake baking. You'll learn a variety of cake making methods to produce the perfect cake with a professional finish.
On this course you'll learn to prepare and bake a range of delicious cakes. Each week you'll explore new skills and techniques, which will give you the confidence you need to create cakes at home for any occasion.
Your teacher will give you feedback and advice. You'll work with your classmates to evaluate each other's work. You'll also complete an individual learning plan.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Learners will need to bring in their own ingredients, an apron and a suitable container to take their produce home, full details will be emailed to you shortly before the first class.
