L3 - Award in The Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: 2008 (2015) (QCF) (CG) - Level 3

Introduction

This course is intended for practising electricians who wish to update their knowledge of wiring regulations or gain a formal qualification for employment.

Assessment

City & Guilds online multiple choice exam. You'll need to buy a copy of BS7671 as the course and exam refer to it extensively.

Entry Requirements

This course is aimed at working electricians and useful if you want to develop your knowledge of electrical installations. You must have a good command of English and will need to sit a short entrance test.

Materials

There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).

Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
