
Electrical Installations (Buildings) City & Guilds Diploma - Level 3
Introduction
This course will build your knowledge and competence. It includes commissioning, testing and fault finding on electrical installations. You'll have visits to trade shows to help you see the latest developments in the industry. Our guest speakers are already successful in their jobs and their advice will give you the inside view of what it's like to succeed and what employers are looking for. Previous work experience opportunities have included installing solar panels.

Entry Requirements
Three GCSEs A*-C/9-4 including English and maths grade 4/C and Level 2 Electrical.
For international students, you will need an IELTS score of 5.5 (minimum 5.0 in each section) or equivalent. Find out more in the international pages.
Materials
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
