This course is aimed at interpreters and translators, both prospective and those already working in the community, who wish to familiarise themselves with foundations of mental health terminology.
We will cover main mental health conditions, personality disorders, addictions, treatment and therapy and promoting wellbeing. Students can gain a more systematic knowledge of terminology and procedures used in mental health. This is a great supplementary option for current/past/prospective students of DPSI and/or community interpreting.
