A lively course which aims to reinforce/consolidate what you have already learnt and enable you to deal with a variety of practical situations.
Content: Based on Chapters 1-2 of Nuovo Espresso 2 (IF) (Alma Edizioni - Italian version)
Topics: Grammar: agreements of nouns and gender; possessive; reflexive verbs; past tense (passato prossimo).
Grammar: the verbs to be, to have; the formal and informal way of addressing someone; the present tense; the negative.
- Introduce yourself
- Talk about your family -talk about past holidays.
The course is based on the communicative approach:
- Active students interaction
- Emphasis on speaking and listening skills
- Pair and group work
- Role plays
- Use of pictures and authentic material
- Use of audio-visual techniques
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
