Are you interested in learning British Sign Language (BSL) Come and learn some basic vocabulary and grammar, and decide if you want to progress on to a BSL Stage 1 course and gain a recognised qualification.
This course gives you the basic skills of BSL and is for family, friends or work colleagues of deaf people who want to use some basic language in communication. It gives you the possibility of progressing on to higher-level courses. After the course, you'll be able to have a basic conversation with a deaf person, using sign language to ask and answer questions.
You'll receive feedback from your tutor and conduct self-assessment.
This course is for beginners
After completing this course, you can enrol on to the BSL Stage 1 course at South Thames College.
