- Achieve some calmness and balance in the body and mind.
Teacher feedback, individual learning plans, student and peer self-assessment, sharing of work in groups and partner work.
There are no entry requirements other than the basic ability to be able to walk reasonably well and climb a few stairs. You should wait a while before starting if you've had very recent surgery or an injury. The class is suitable for any age group. You're encouraged to learn at your own pace and energy level.
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
You can move onto the same course the following term to develop you skills further. You may wish to carry on learning and practicing for many years and apply it to everyday life. It's possible to practice with a group locally during the summer break.
