This course will suit you whether you're a beginner or experienced student. You'll explore Iyengar yoga practices, poses and breathing exercises with a view to developing your own yoga practice. You'll start by studying the essential movements which you'll use to form a classical yoga practice.
Iyengar yoga takes its name from BKS Iyengar who, for more than 60 years, developed his own innovative and inspiring approach to classical yoga. Iyengar places an emphasis on the scientific precision of movement and a methodical approach. It aims to reduce stress and improve relaxation as well as flexibility and muscle tone.
Tutor feedback, individual learning plans, peer and self-assessment.
