Meditation is a relaxation technique that involves breathing and visualisation to help you unwind and ease stress. This course will introduce you to mindfulness and take you through basic meditation you can use everyday to feel calm and relaxed.
The course will teach you how you can use meditation and mindfulness to:
Energise the body
Promote mental health
- Encourage progression in life.
Your tutor will give you feedback and answer any questions you have. You'll be encouraged to evaluate your own progress and share your ideas with the class.
There are no entry requirements, but you'll need to stand up for some of the relaxation techniques and use your hands to perform massage.
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be able to get funding to help with materials fees. Please check with us when you come in for interview or enrolment.
