This course is a great way to improve your singing. You will practice breathing and vocal techniques , explore songs in solo and group capacity, and learn how to use your voice wisely and to its best, whatever your age and experience, and you will be able to enhance your well-being. There are regular opportunities to perform in the community, which will develop confidence, teamwork and public presentation skills.
You'll learn to use your voice more efficiently in a way that benefits your age group by singing and working towards performance projects. You'll study from worksheets, handouts and your own repertoire book. Other handouts on specific technical matters covered in class will be supplied by your tutor. Each week the repertoire covered follows a specific topic, including global festivals and holidays.
Your teacher will give you feedback and advice. You'll also complete an individual learning plan.
A passion for music and singing.
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
