Confidence can seem like an elusive thing to many people but you can learn techniques to help it grow. In this class you will learn and practice different performance techniques to create new mind-sets and strategies that will banish old ways of thinking and interacting and make you feel good about yourself. We will create a friendly, safe space to practice new ways of being outside of your normal comfort zone.
This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to learn and grow their confidence in a fun and imaginative way. These techniques can help you in business, different workplaces, out socialising and also at home with the family.
Learn techniques for identifying the root causes of your own low confidence and limiting beliefs
Learn a range of mindfulness and meditation techniques that can help in your day-to-day life
Participate in confidence building games to make you aware of how you 'project yourself'
Receive feedback in a supportive/nurturing manner from the rest of the group which will help you see yourself in a new light and grow
Identify the 'characters' you usually inhabit when interacting with others
Identify the person you wish to project out to the world and how to move to physically to create them
- Learn the key ways you can 'perform assertiveness' which will lead to confidence
Group and one to one tuition. constructive advice and problem solving of students' own work.
No formal qualifications are required.
You will need to wear comfortable clothes that you feel free to move around in with ease and bring a note book. Information handouts will be provided by the teacher.
There may be materials you need to help with your studies. You'll either make a one-off payment for these when you enrol, or you'll buy them during the course. Your tutor will talk to you about this at interview or in your first class (if you don't need an interview).
