We offer part-time general English (EFL) classes. On these courses you will develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and improve your grammar and vocabulary. You will use English all the time in class. You will take ESOL exams as part of your course.
In addition, we offer exam preparation classes for the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE) and IELTS exams.
Please see course information sheets for more details:
This is what the British Council said about our courses:
"Academic staff profile, Course design, Learner management and Teaching are areas of strength.
Premises and facilities and Learning resources are areas of strength
Staff management and Quality assurance are areas of strength."
Your skills will be continuously assessed through classwork and homework tasks which will develop your general English. You will take Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing exams by the end of your course.
Our EFL (ESOL) courses are for students from pre-intermediate to advanced levels (B1-C1) (Entry 3 - Level 2). At enrolment, one of our course teachers will interview you and ask you to do some writing in English to find out what the best course is for you. Please book an assessment time below.
Depending on the level of your class, you may be asked to buy a course book. This may cost up to £30.
