English and Maths GCSE
If you're 19 or over by 31st August 2023 and have a Functional Skills Level 2 qualification or skills at similar level, you can apply to join an English or Maths GCSE course starting in September 2023.
GCSE English and Maths qualifications are often required for those wanting to study on a university course.

Entry Requirements
Before you enrol, you'll have a short test with one of our tutors to help us decide if a GCSE course is the right one for you.If you've already completed a functional skills course, please bring your certificates with you when you come in for your test.
If you don't have a formal qualification in maths then you can take this course for free as long as you get a good enough mark on your assessment.

Course Structure
When and where can I study? You can study in the daytime or evening.All courses run one day or one evening a week for three hours.
Your tutor will discuss options when you come in to enrol.
