The Moving and Handling programme is designed for individuals responsible for the moving and handling of service users within a care environment. The qualification is essential for anyone looking to either join or develop their career in the care sector.

The qualification is designed to be part of a suite of short courses and includes the following qualifications:

Moving and Handling Certificate in Falls Prevention *Foundations for Learning and Life (Individual Learning Plan)

You will have the opportunity to learn how to safely move, position, assist and handle service users in your care to prevent any injuries.

  • Entry Requirements


    In order to be able to enrol for this course, you are required to meet the following criteria: Be aged 19 or over Have lived in the UK for the past three (3) years *Have achieved a Grade 4 (Grade C) or above in GCSE English, or a Pass in Functional Skills Level 2
