The Administration of Medication programme is designed for individuals responsible for the handling, administration and disposal of medication within a care environment. The qualification is essential for anyone looking to either join or develop their career in the care sector.

The qualification is designed to be part of a suite of short courses and includes the following qualifications:

• Administration of Medication • Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care • Foundations for Learning and Life (Individual Learning Plan)

You will have the opportunity to learn how to control infection by using the correct techniques, the importance of risk assessments as well as person-centred care.

  • Entry Requirements


    In order to be able to enrol for this course, you are required to meet the following criteria: • Be aged 19 or over • Have lived in the UK for the past three (3) years • Have achieved a Grade 4 (Grade C) or above in GCSE English, or a Pass in Functional Skills Level 2
