Care And Management Of Diabetes  - Level 2 - TOOTING

This FREE course covers roles in healthcare and will increase your awareness and understanding of diabetes. Through learning the types, causes, signs and symptoms of diabetes; the anatomy and physiology in relation to diabetes; the impact of diabetes on individuals, others and society. The course also covers the treatment and management of diabetes and common complications of diabetes.

  • Entry Requirements


    To attend this course you must be 19 years old or over, legally allowed to live and work in the UK and have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years. You will also need to pass a short assessment for English and maths.

    Course content Includes understanding diabetes, diabetes in context, the treatment and management of diabetes and the complications of diabetes.

  • Course Structure


    The FREE course will be distance learning over 8 weeks with some face to face meetings with an assessor; ensuring all government guidelines for coronavirus are being carried out with regards to handwashing, wearing a face covering and social distancing.

  • Assessment Details


    You will need to complete the learning resources provided (workbooks), which will be marked and assessed. Once completed you will be awarded a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification.
