Paediatric First Aid

The Paediatric First Aid programme is designed to build skills and knowledge to provide effective first aid to children.

The qualification is designed to be part of a suite of short courses and includes the following qualifications:

• Paediatric First Aid • Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges • Foundations for Learning and Life (Individual Learning Plan)

If you work with children or babies, such as in a nursery or as a childminder, the Paediatric First Aid programme can teach you how to help children or babies if they become injured or unwell. You will also gain a better understanding of challenging behaviour and how to support individuals who display it.

  • Entry Requirements


    In order to be able to enrol for this course, you are required to meet the following criteria: • Be aged 19 or over • Have lived in the UK for the past three (3) years • Have achieved a Grade 4 (Grade C) or above in GCSE English, or a Pass in Functional Skills Level 2
