Leia said: "My tutors were my absolute heroes. I was very fortunate to meet so many lovely people at Kington College, who I’m still in contact with today.

"It never occurred to me that I would have such an enjoyable and proactive experience. Such as meeting the incredible artist, living in Germany, who worked with Walt Disney on a few classic featured films. I was introduced to train with her on hand drawn animation as part of my work experience. The course gave me the freedom to do what I wanted. I discovered myself by delving deep into my specialist area, animation, and from there I have never felt this much excitement. I immediately saw myself potentially working in the animation industry, possibly at a big major studio. I finally had the urge to pursue my passion and dreams and kept working hard on my craft.

"Now as a student at university, I am finally in my own element. All thanks to Kingston College for encouraging me and giving me the valuable experience that I needed to get started."
