We are delighted to introduce you to Nana Brew, Interim Head of Section – Art and Design.
Nana is an educational leader, with over 12 years’ experience working in Further and Higher Education. Her specialism includes fashion bespoke tailoring and haute couture, contextual studies, business and finance. Nana is currently a designated safeguarding lead at our Creative Industries Centre, where her door is always open to students.
Nana has a transformative educational philosophy and, like Nelson Mandela, believes that good education has the power to change the world. Through her critical pedagogical approaches, she encourages her students to be aspirational and entrepreneurial, equipping them with skills for the 21st century.
Nana’s prior experience includes roles in fashion, marketing and business. In her spare time, she volunteers as a governor at a local college and a primary school; she also works with charities to improve schools in Ghana.
