The South Thames College Careers Team recently welcomed our university colleagues back onsite for the annual University Fair at Wandsworth.

The day brought together 26 universities from across the country as well as our very own STCH University Centre, with the goal of providing information to students about their educational offering, entrance requirements and application processes for various undergraduate courses.

The Fair was very well attended and open to students from both the Tooting and Wandsworth campuses. Here is what some of the university representatives had to say:

"It was a brilliant event that allowed for worthwhile, lengthy conversations with students." Southampton Solent University

"The location of the event was good and we had some very meaningful conversations. Students were generally well informed and positive about next steps. I enjoyed the event." Greenwich University

"We met some really great students at the event and would love to be invited back next year. " Brighton Film School

Sue Rathmell, Careers Adviser at South Thames College commented: "The University Fair forms part of an annual Careers and Employability programme which is designed to raise aspirations and help our students make informed decisions about their academic and professional future once they complete their college courses. With a large number of students across both South Thames College campuses having receiving text invitations, to allow for COVID-safe conditions, this open event ran across four hours in our ground floor atrium corridor and the universities had a steady stream of enquiries throughout."
