Kingston College took part in the AoC Sport challenge #GotheDistance. Over four weeks during the summer staff and students were encouraged to track their runs and cycles to compete for the win. And they did not disappoint. Although, it was a challenging time due the pandemic and the resulting government restrictions, there was great commitment by everyone that took part.

At the end of the month, Kingston College exceeded the required distance of 456 miles of running. 28 students and staff members covered a distance equivalent to the route from Kingston College to the Scottish Highlands.
And the effort and commitment was worth it as KC was announced the winner of the London region. The prize was a Garmin running watch for a committed student. The Sport Develop Team of KC chose Sophie Clarke a HND Sport and Exercise student. She contributed the most miles and showed great dedication.

Sophie has received her prize and is really happy with her new watch!
